Our trip to Louisana provided a close and somber look at the New Orleans devastation from Hurricane Katrina and how little has changed in the 9 months since the storm hit.
Christopher won a free birthday party at Little Gym, where he takes his sports classes each week. So, we invited all his friends for an early birthday celebration of sports and games.

In celebration of 3 family birthdays and Mother's Day, my in-laws treated us all to a 4-day trip to Disney World.

Christmas day was a blast this year, with Emily experiencing her first Christmas, and Christopher now old enough to really enjoy the excitement.
This year, Christopher got up enough courage to go trick-or-treating, at least to a few nearby houses. Perhaps it was due to his Buzz Lightyear space ranger costume.
Emily's Baptism was held at the St. Andrew Church here in Coral Springs, the same place that Christopher was baptised and Tammy & I were married.
Christie and her two kids Brandon & Vicky, joined us for a day-trip down to the Miami Metro Zoo where we were treated to a nearly empty park, enjoying the animals all to ourselves.
The category 4 hurricane fizzled out and left us with a nasty wind-driven storm and a bunch of ripped down trees in the area, but thankfully nothing worse.
A nice weekend trip to Walt Disney World, staying at the Caribbean Beach resort and meeting up with a some old college friends along the way.
Christopher, Emily, Barbara, Tammy, and myself, along with our good friend Andrea, took an hour long cruise down the Ft. Lauderdale coast aboard the Goodyear blimp, Stars & Stripes.
