About the Author — Albert Kahler
I am a recovering web developer, with a degree in Computer Art & Design from Jacksonville University. Working for an advertising & interactive design company, I spend my days pushing pixels, playing with code, and harboring ideas of creative genius, all while sucking down vast amounts of caffeine. It's a tough job, I know!
Growing up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I am a die-hard Steelers fan who now resides in Coral Springs, Florida. It's not all that different down here except for the people, sun, beaches, and apparent lack of snow-plows. You'd hardly notice.
My Wife & Kids
My wife is an Italian from New Orleans, and is therefore required to be an excellent cook, but I guess I can learn to deal with that! She is also a wonderful stay-at-home mom who is neck deep in motherhood with our two little ones.
Our oldest, Christopher, is a four year old comedian who doesn't shy from confrontation. He's currently gung-ho for hockey, the Power Rangers, and anything to do with airplanes.
On the other hand, our two year old, Emily, is complete trouble waiting to happen. As a pre-madonna in training, this one doesn't let the attention pass her, unless she's covertly headed for mischief.
My Family: The Early Years
My origins are derived from a unique family, to put it politely, as I am the first of three unexplainable disasters fathomed by my parents.
My father is a nuclear physicist from Long Island, New York (isn't that a contradiction in terms) who finds enjoyment from solving brain-numbing equations and counting quarks. He's left handed, which may explain it!
On the other hand, no pun intended, my mother is a technologically challenged individual trained in the ancient arts of the dewey decimal system. She also has a long history of domestic engineering and is from somewhere in the back-woods of Bridgeville, Delaware. But don't worry, you're not the only person who's never heard of Bridgeville... or Delaware, for that matter.
My younger brother (aka "Looser") is a tennis fiend attending Furman University in South Carolina. His IQ is only slightly better than his serve, but I'm working with him on that.
The third disaster, my little sister, is a somewhat typical girl with interests in medieval armor and the African safari. She also like movies and music, but we try to keep that on the down-low. We don't want anyone to think she is weird or anything.

Well, that's all for now! Besides, if that wasn't enough to quench your thirst for me, perhaps you should get a life and go outside or something.
